Walt
Have watched this mare from day one after being told she was held in high regard by Derek & Adele. She's a beauty. In early November she beat Masterly and Confessional @ Addington. Enjoyed the way she won and just as importantly, the way Kim drove her., especially in the home straight. Fourth turning in but several lengths off them. No stress at all from Kim. She just pulled Eurostyle wider and she picked them up like the result was never in doubt. On cup day I paid close attention to her. When she got the top no problem I thought it was likely all over despite her still having a chink in her armour. Andy Hall was determined to take the top and soon after Eurostyle galloped. I assumed game over after losing a fair bit of ground mid race but she got balanced up and put up a superb run to beat all but Galway Girl. Since then she's won three more races, all in the very capable hands of Kim Butt who's reputation with trotters especially goes from strength to strength. Her win last night was another ripper. Kim drove her out of trouble exactly like she was the best horse in the race and she clearly was. Still plenty of time up her sleeve and further inevitable improvement, I feel both horse and driver will not be out of place in races like the Rowe Cup and Dominion. Stoked for everyone involved from a racing and breeding preposition. https://harness.hrnz.co.nz/gws/ws/r/infohorsews/wsd06x?Arg=hrnzg-Ptype&Arg=RaceVideo&Arg=hrnzg-RacehdrID&Arg=1472FE98-BFD4-4AD1-9706-C29B44C8FBB0&Arg=hrnzg-rSite&Arg=TRUE
