Thomass
As predicted a whip violation wins a G 1 this season....the Telegraph McNab looking to have a good day..started his Whipping day off on REDCAYENNE 17 strikes well before the 100m...wins by a narrow margin... ...by someone sticking to the RULES ok? A massive joke Then the G1 ...Strikes 11 times until the 100...and continued throughout the last 100M A terrible look... The shocking look continued with the runner up Matty Cameron....also breaking the whip rule Its become a massive joke this...just get rid of the whip..or adopt the Aus Rule...which is far harsher ...then give the option of being able to protest....which you can't at the moment "In determining penalty the Committee adopted a starting point of 6-8 national riding days. Aggravating factors were the Group 1 status and stake of the race, and the fact that Mr McNab won the race. While the number of strikes was not as high as his previous breach, a further aggravating factor was that Mr McNab was facing a second breach on the same day. Excessive use of the whip must be discouraged in every race, and it concerns that some riders appear to throw caution to the wind when the stakes are higher. This could be perceived as a “win at all cost” attitude." Out for 11days...the connections will probably supplement him...
