curious
It would be about 10.5% if you exclude NH races. Still nowhere close to 15% and NZ includes jumping races highweights etc. in their calculation.
Thomass
And do they have SW&F All P's as part of their Black Type show?

No, but then they don't consider handicap racing as being suitable for black type either. They may stupidly have one handicap listed race from memory, but would have to check. Still, they would fall off if they weren't meeting the required level.

I can read and understand the conditions in a few seconds. Starting weights for age/sex then a list of 7 bulletpoints, 3 of which only apply to winners of 2yo or 3yo races. Show me whats not simple about it? I would add that the conditions should appear more prominently for punters. But that applies for all race types. Thomass
Have you got the 7 handy for a cutnpaste? So no inequity? A neddy beaten a nose gets nothing...yet the winner 3kgs? And the 18 months gap...nothing...17 months 30 days 3 kgs?? Could you address that too...thanks While you're there...a Black Type 3yo race at HQ has the astonishing race conditions of each win receiving 1 kgs...So a G1 nose placing receives nothing...but a mid weak race at Te Amuta 1Kg? How is that even allowed to be Black type?

Do you not know what it is you dont like so much??

Ok, can you just send me the link so I can view them again then...ffs I definitely know the ridiculous inequities as pointed out... ..and you're ok with that? Thomass
Even you know this is an accepted anomaly....requested by trainers who were wanting opportunities for maiden winners in Black Type events Only you could compare the two The UNACCEPTABLE anomaly is CONCENSUS losing by a neck...receiving no penalty.. ...and the winner 3 kgs... That consigns SW&F All P's to the Junk Bond 'Black Type' category...

Whatever that is, but it is superior to the category where black type handicap races go.
Thomass
Ya think? Do handicaps have a cut off point of 18 months then nothing for 17 months 31days?

It's relatively trivial. It's a poor form of handicapping instead of just using WFA. They might be crap, but they aren't as bad as NZ handicaps. And you endorse black type handicap racing.
