Eclipse Thoroughbreds and Gainesway’s Sharing (f, 3, Speightstown–Shared Account, by Pleasantly Perfect) was victorious in her stateside return, winning the GII Edgewood S. by 1 1/2 lengths at Churchill Downs Friday. The chestnut filly, sent off the 3-5 favorite, tracked the pace through fractions of :24.44 and :48.76. She strode to the lead in upper stretch and held sway over Hendy Woods (Uncle Mo), whose bid at the head of the stretch was stalled in behind traffic. The time for the mile was 1:36.87.

Sharing won last year’s GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf and was coming off a runner-up effort at Royal Ascot in the June 20 G1 Coronation S. Lifetime Record: 7-5-1-1. O-Eclipse Thoroughbreds and Gainesway Stables. B-Sagamore Farm (Md). T-Graham Motion.
