Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted May 5, 2023 Journalists Share Posted May 5, 2023 Race 4 TIMARU TOWN & COUNTRY CLUB DASH 1200mLADYSWEY (T Moseley) – Trainer Mr. M Jones advised Stewards, that upon return to the stable LADYSWEY presented with a cough and was placed on a 3-day course of antibiotics. M Jones further advised it is his intention to continue with the mare’s current preparation and has also reapplied the blinkers for LADYSWEY’S next race day start. Race 6 MCINTOSH CATERING MILE MAIDEN 1600mAEQUALIS (T Comignaghi) – Co-trainer Ms. K Murphy reported to Stewards, AEQUALIS underwent a veterinary examination which included blood tests on Friday 28 April, which revealed no abnormalities. K Murphy further advised it is the stables intention to carry on with AEQUALIS’S current preparation. Race 8 IN MEMORY OF OTHE ANZAC WAR HORSES HANDICAP 1600mSHARPDRESTMAN (L Douglas) – Trainer Ms. M Cunneen advised Stewards, SHARPDRESTMAN will undergo a veterinary examination early next week which will include an endoscopic examination. Stewards will do a further follow up with M Cunneen after the completion of the examination. M Cunneen further advised, after the veterinary examination the gelding will be sent for a spell, however, will no longer be considered as a racing proposition for her stable.
