  1. No Jess, apparently no riders were charged, admonished, wrist slapped or made to downtrow in the Jocks room. It was a superb bit of no holds barred competitive riding and you should get your eyes tested if you thought otherwise!
  2. Interestingly they've decided to insert a rail from the corrugated iron fence to the outside fence which will negate the no rail gap. What took them so long? That'll be out 1M to the birdcage, so let's hope the totally unfair winter racing there becomes a thing of the past. One fast lane on the outside fence does not a race make.
  3. You're obviously very sharp. I doubt it considering they hardly ever do bi-carb testing here. Although, when Weiry brought his nag over for the Derby, they tested him twice, just in case he had Smeerdon's "How to Win" text book I guess.
  4. Bi carb testing is done BEFORE racing. It's all about timing, too early and the effect wears off, too late and you guessed it. It says something about how inept the Racing Vic. policing was obviously. They supposedly randomly test 30 odd per meeting but these dirty rotten cheating Smeerdons were keeping an eye out for Stipe's number plates and apparently had inside knowledge of who were going to be tested that day among other things. If this happened here, under the Crimes Act, the perpetrator's could be charged with fraud, not just warned off as these grubs have been, along with meaningless fines which they simply won't pay.
  5. So this is where the great racing debates have gone. Welcome to me then! Just a small consideration, where's the RACING component in the title?
