It has been brought to my attention of this article today. I am rather disturbed at the false information supplied by GRNZ about the dog I used to train (My Pablo). He certainly did not swollow a sharp object. The dog had not eaten this close after the conclusion of his race. He was injured at the lure, due to impact, ruptured his stomach and I spent the night trying to save his life, to no avail. Stipendary stewards were made well aware of the situation so it baffles me why this false information has been given.
