The rules of racing don't apply to MOST of the bigger trainers. Not so long ago everyone was attacking a South Island trainer for killing dogs on a ferry. This is just another case

Innocent until proven guilty! You all sound like a bunch of jealous people. I'm sure there's plenty worse out there that's been done wrong. Just because ONE person decides to put the hates on Cole due to a disagreement everyone thinks go get em. Attack me as much as you like I don't care. This live killing or baiting was brought up a few years ago with another trainer/handler.

At the end of the day it's the dogs that have gained benefit from the practice in my opinion so who ever is involved be gone with ya. Dogs involved all suspended too. Is that not how it happened in Australia??

Great that you have saved this dog. Well done to you. How is its quality of life. I did it to a chihuahua once and going back now I'm not sure I'd ever do it again

I happened to be at whanganui last week and was disgusted to see a dog being transported in the public eye from the vet room to the freezer in a black bag by the whanganui racing club manager after it had not long been put down due to injury. Is there not a time and place to take out this practice? Right in public eye. Looked appalling! Daylight, trainers, owners and public watching??
