  2. Looking to make a heftier deposit into her Kentucky Oaks account, Ballerina d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro–In the Moonlight, by Tapit) finished when it counted and got the win in the GIII Gazelle Stakes at the Big A on a misty Saturday afternoon. The heavy favorite chased the pace into the first turn and was caught behind a trio of horses for the move up the backstrecth. With plenty of horse at his disposal, jockey Dylan Davis gunned the filly's engine and tried to sail past Early On (Union Rags) down the lane. Lugging in and on the wrong lead, the 3-year-old finally righted the ship and took home 100 Oaks points as she crossed the wire. The final running time was 1:50.67. Coming into the race, Ballerina d'Oro had 16.25 Oaks points on credit. Lifetime Record: 6-2-1-1. Sales History: $320,000 '23 FTAUG. 3. Heavily favored Tenma (Nyquist) solidified her status as the West Coast's leading GI Kentucky Oaks contender with an easy victory in the GII Fasig-Tipton Santa Anita Oaks Saturday in Arcadia. Sent off at 1-5 in her first start since a romping win in the Feb. 2 GIII Las Virgenes Stakes, the dark bay filly was away well and was taken in hand to sit a stalking trip as stablemate Silent Law (Tiz the Law) exchanged blows with No Bad Beats (Midnight Storm) through an opening quarter in :22.85 before taking a clear lead as the half went up in :46.38. Vodka with a Twist (Thousand Words) moved to challenge the pacesetter into the far turn with Tenma a menacing presence just to her outside with a three-wide rally of her own. Tenma took a slim lead at the top of the lane and, while Silent Law boxed on gamely, the favorite proved too much, skipping away late to win by 2 1/4 lengths. Vodka With a Twist, who was making her first start since finishing second in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies last November, was another six lengths back in third. “I was having a beautiful trip, and I asked her to run at the three-eighths pole because she was getting a little lazy on me,” said winning jockey Juan Hernandez. “But that's the way she is, she takes a couple strides to get going. Around the turn, when I was ready to start making my move and pass Silent Law, she was really brave.” Trainer Bob Baffert said he was pleased with the progress the winner has made with each start. “We are trying to get her to the Kentucky Oaks and she had been progressing, getting better and better,” Baffert said of the winner. “I liked the way she settled today. There was a lot of speed in the race. She is becoming more professional as we go. She has come a long way and she is great to be around. She is a lovely filly. It's pretty exciting to run one-two in a stake like this.” Of Silent Law, who was making her first start beyond seven furlongs, Baffert added, “I wanted to stretch her out and it was the only opportunity I'd get. We were experimenting to see how she handled it, and she handled it really well. It is nice when it all works out.” Tenma, a debut winner at Del Mar last August, just nosed out Vodka With a Twist to win the GI Del Mar Debutante in her second start. She suffered her first loss when third in the GII Oak Leaf Stakes in October, but came back to end her juvenile campaign with a win in the Dec. 7 GII Starlet Stakes in December. She opened her sophomore campaign with a 6 1/2-length score in the Las Virgenes. “She just didn't run in the Oak Leaf. It was a dud,” Baffert said. “She struggled that day, just not mentally ready. I backed off of her after that, freshened her, and she's been ready to go.” Pedigree Notes: Breeder Bobby Flay purchased Amagansett as a yearling for $875,000 at the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale. The unraced mare sold in foal to Not This Time for $400,000 to Kimura Hidenori Co at the 2023 Fasig-Tipton November sale. She has a 2-year-old colt by Munnings who RNA'd for $325,000 at last year's Keeneland September sale. Amagansett's multiple group-placed dam Twirl is a full-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Misty for Me (Ire), who produced multiple Group 1 winners U S Navy Flag (War Front) and Roly Poly (War Front). She is also a full-sister to multiple Group 1-placed Ballydoyle (Ire). #4 TENMA ($2.60) earns 75 Kentucky Oaks points with a victory over stablemate Silent Law in the $200,000 Santa Anita Oaks (G2) at @SantaAnitaPark. Observations on the European Racing Scene turns the spotlight on the best European races of the day, highlighting well-bred horses early in their careers, horses of note returning to action and young runners that achieved notable results in the sales ring. Sunday's Observations features a colt out of the Hong Kong Vase heroine Daryakana. 1.58 ParisLongchamp, €27,000, Debutantes, 3yo, c/g, 10 1/2fT DARYZ (FR) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) hails from the all-powerful Francis-Henri Graffard stable and as a son of the 2009 G1 Hong Kong Vase heroine Daryakana (Fr) (Selkirk) and grandson of the 1999 G1 Prix de Diane heroine Daryaba (Ire) (Night Shift) has much to commend him. 8. Amid massive rainfall in and around Oaklawn Park, 68 horses were forced to evacuate from the track's Ten Mile Creek Training Center in Lonsdale, Arkansas, according to a press release from the National HBPA on Saturday. In a statement from HBPA CEO Eric Hamelback on the flooding he said, “Our thoughts are with the entire Oaklawn Park community as they endure the devastating impact of the flooding that occurred Saturday, Apr. 5, at Oaklawn Park's Ten Mile Creek Training Center. All horsemen are deeply concerned for the well-being of the horses, horsemen and their families affected by this severe flooding.” “I'm very thankful for all the horsemen who showed up to evacuate all the horses and people,” said Arkansas HBPA board member Ron Moquett. 15. Japanese Derby winner Danon Decile (Jpn) (Epiphaneia {Jpn}) announced himself on the world stage with a perfectly-timed slingshot-maneuver to run out an impressive winner of the G1 Longines Dubai Sheema Classic for trainer Shogo Yasuda and jockey Keita Tosaki. A mid-race move from William Buick saw defending champion Rebel's Romance (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) take over the sedate early pace set by what had been billed as the leading Japanese contender in Shin Emperor (Jpn) (Siyouni {Fr}). And it looked as though Rebel's Romance, who was bidding to become the first horse to win back-to-back Sheema Classics, might actually have stolen a march on the field as he turned into the straight and took a length or two out of the field. But Tosaki was wise to what was going on up front. He sent Danon Decile after Rebel's Romance and took over in the lead inside the furlong marker and was always doing enough in front to hold the fast-finishing and heavy favourite Calandagan (Ire) (Gleneagles {Ire}) [5-4 fav] in second. Durezza (Jpn) (Duramente {Jpn}) got up for third in the dying strides to deny Rebel's Romance a podium finish. “He's a very, very good horse,” said Tosaki, the three-time champion jockey in Japan. “There was huge pressure on me so it's fantastic to win this race. For the people watching at home in Japan so late, I am so happy, thank you so much.” Tosaki added, “He was excited before the race but he settled when he got into the stall. He ran a great race, travelled really well on the bridle. I expected him to run a similar race to the Tokyo Yushun [Japanese Derby] and he did it. I knew the field was very strong but I thought Danon Decile was competitive. I am delighted we proved his ability here in Dubai.” Meanwhile, Francis Graffard, trainer of Calandagan, was focusing on the positives following the race. “He was slow out of the stalls and he takes so much time to get into his rhythm,” Graffard said. “Mickael said during the race he was happy they weren't going faster because he needed to get going. I don't have any excuses. In the straight we were following the winner and he had the first kick. He came really fast at the end. It was a very good start of the season for him. The plan is to go to Epsom for the Coronation Cup with him, but we'll see how he comes back from Dubai. It's a very good run and Mickael will know him more for the future, too.” Pedigree Notes Danon Decile (Jpn) was bred by Shadai Farm and is one of the top performers by the brilliant Japan St Leger and Japan Cup winner Epiphaneia (Jpn). A Japanese Derby winner himself, Danon Decile is the fourth foal out of the American-bred mare Top Decile (Congrats) and a half-brother to Japanese winners Top The Bill (Jpn) (American Pharoah) and Statistics (Jpn) (Heart's Cry {Jpn}). Top Decile was twice placed at Grade I level in America and was a $950,000 purchase by Shadai Farm at the Keeneland November Sale in 2017. 16. Wathnan Racing's HIT SHOW (h, 5, Candy Ride {Arg}–Actress, by Tapit) weaved his way through the Meydan stretch and ran down very game front-runner in the form of Calumet Farm's Mixto (Good Magic) to top an American-bred and -based quinella in Saturday's G1 Dubai World Cup. Heavily favored Forever Young (Jpn) (Real Steel {Jpn}) failed to exhibit the same brilliance he did when taking out the G1 Saudi Cup a month and a half ago and lumbered home a non-threatening third. Florent Geroux, second aboard Gun Runner when he was vanquished by an all-world performance from Arrogate in the 2017 World Cup, allowed his mount to get back in the run as Walk of Stars (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) rolled to the front from the inside gate. Mixto tracked from second and Imperial Emperor (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) sat three-deep in the breeze, as Ryusei Sakai tried to find a comfortable spot for Forever Young. Walk of Stars and Mixto were still at each other into the final 600 meters, and Forever Young was being asked some questions while not making any impression on those up in front. Mixto surged to the front at the furlong grounds and looked home, but Hit Show was finding his best stride, closing relentlessly from third-last with 300 meters to go and was along in the dying strides to deny Mixto. 17. Japanese raider SOUL RUSH (JPN) (h, 7, Rulership (Jpn)–Eternal Bouquet {Jpn}, by Manhattan Cafe {Jpn}) stunned the Meydan crowds as he denied Hong Kong champion Romantic Warrior (Ire) (Acclamation {GB}) in the shadows of the post to double his Group 1 tally in the $5 million Dubai Turf sponsored by DP World. The runner-up was always prominent under James McDonald but couldn't get away from his rivals after moving up to lead early in the straight, before Soul Rush emerged from the pack with a determined late bid to get the verdict by a nose, with another length and a quarter back to Maljoom (Ire) (Caravaggio) in third. After a long wait for the judge to call the result, last year's G1 Mile Championship hero was eventually called the winner for Cristian Demuro and Yasutoshi Ikee, in a time of 1:45.84. 18. Sunday, Parislongchamp, France, post time: 17:00, PRIX D'HARCOURT-G2, €130,000, 4yo/up, 10fT Field: Daring Prince (GB) (Zarak {Fr}), Birr Castle (Fr) (Cloth Of Stars {Ire}), Horizon Dore (Fr) (Dabirsim {Fr}), Certain Lad (GB) (Clodovil {Ire}) and Map Of Stars (GB) (Sea The Stars {Ire}). TDN Verdict: Much the most intriguing member of this cast is the unexposed Map Of Stars, who marked his seasonal debut with a smooth success in Saint-Cloud's G3 Prix Exbury last month and has been campaigned with the future in mind. Given that his dam Bateel (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}) reached her peak at five, connections will be buoyed if he turns this into an uncomplicated tune-up for the G1 Prix Ganay. In what is a match if the formbook can be trusted, Horizon Dore is the one to aim at if he is the same horse that got so close to Auguste Rodin (Ire) (Deep Impact {Jpn}) in last year's G1 Prince of Wales's Stakes. Notably, he excels at this venue with his seven starts here boasting three wins and a narrow second to the high-class Mqse De Sevigne (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}) in the G1 Prix d'Ispahan last May. Sunday, Parislongchamp, France, post time: 15:50, PRIX LA FORCE-G3, €80,000, 3yo, c/g, 9fT Field: Azimpour (Ire) (Dubawi {Ire}), Dreamliner (Fr) (Adlerflug {Ger}), Nizam (Fr) (Pinatubo {Ire}), Cualificar (GB) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), Reach The Sky (Fr) (Calyx {GB}), New Ground (GB) (New Bay {GB}), and Waka Waka (Fr) (Dabirsim {Fr}). TDN Verdict: This G1 Prix du Jockey Club trial features a trio of unbeaten and untested colts in Nizam, New Ground and Azimpour and given the upward trajectory of the Francis-Henri Graffard stable over the past year and a bit, it is impossible not to focus in on the latter. He has to be much better than the bare form of his course-and-distance win in October, but the Aga Khan Studs' homebred is a half-brother to The Autumn Sun (Aus) (Redoute's Choice {Aus}) from the immediate family of Azamour (Ire) (Night Shift) and has a high ceiling genetically. Nurlan Bizakov's Nizam is a son of his G3 Musidora Stakes scorer Nausha (GB) (Kingman {GB}) and like Juddmonte's New Ground has an extra race under his belt than Azimpour but may lack the overall scope of their peer. Sunday, Parislongchamp, France, post time: 16:25, AL SHIRA'AA RACING PRIX VANTEAUX-G3, €80,000, 3yo, f, 9fT Field: Mandanaba (Fr) (Ghaiyyath {Ire}), Blown By The Wind (Fr) (Waldgeist {GB}), Flaming Stone (GB) (Kingman {GB}), Premonition (Fr) (Lord Of England {Ger}), Wassail (War Front), and Gezora (Fr) (Almanzor {Fr}). TDN Verdict: Another big runner for the Graffard operation, TDN Rising Star Mandanaba makes her keenly-anticipated return having wowed on her sole start at Chantilly in November. Princess Zahra Aga Khan's daughter of her high-achieving Mandesha (Fr) (Desert Style {Ire}) has two proven yardsticks to aim at in Juddmonte's Listed Prix la Camargo winner Flaming Stone and White Birch Farm's acquisition Gezora, the latter of which is now in the same stable following her G3 Prix des Reservoirs win. The latter is out of the G1 Prix Saint-Alary heroine Germance (Silver Hawk), who was runner-up in the 2006 G1 Prix de Diane for which this acts as a pertinent trial. 19. DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — In the history of the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen dating back to 1996, no 3-year-old had ever succeeded in defeating their elders in the 1200-meter dash. Only two Northern Hemisphere-bred sophomores had even tried. That all changed in the space of 71 seconds and some change under the Saturday night lights at Meydan, as DARK SAFFRON (c, 3, Flameaway–Meadow Saffron, by Military) busted away from the outside stall and made every yard a winning one, holding off Nakatomi (Firing Line) and a desperately unlucky defending champion Tuz (Oxbow) to cause a major upset. Able to gain a run in the Golden Shaheen after winning a course-and-distance allowance Mar. 14, the $25,000 Keeneland September yearling turned $120,000 OBS April breezer hit the ground running and was able to make the lead, outsprinting the fleet defending champion and American Stage (Into Mischief), while Straight No Chaser (Speightster) was outfooted, appeared to resent the kickback and effectively lost all chance in the first 200 meters. Dark Saffron continued to show the way into the straight hounded along by American Stage, as Tuz–under heavy urging from Tadhg O'Shea–was nevertheless boxing on bravely inside. While he was able to sneak through underneath Don Frankie (Jpn) en route to the victory 12 months ago, there was no such good fortune this time around for Tuz and O'Shea, who attempted to thread the needle, but was denied that access and was steadied. In the meantime, Nakatomi was pinching ground from behind down the outside, but Dark Saffron would not lay down and went on to a narrow victory. 20. You don't always get what you deserve in life. Just take a look at Believing (Ire) (Mehmas {Ire}) for example. George Boughey's razor-sharp sprinter had gone agonisingly close to breaking her duck at the highest level three times last season and those closest to her must have been thinking if her turn would ever come. Beaten but unbowed, Believing showed the world what she is capable of in the G1 Al Quoz Sprint, going some way in justifying Coolmore's 3 million gns investment at last year's Tattersalls December Mares Sale. Believing may have been a deserving breakthrough winner at the highest level but by God did she have to work for it under William Buick. Poking up the inner, the five-year-old kept on best to better Japanese runner Win Carnelian (Jpn) (Screen Hero {Jpn}) with Ed Bethell's Regional (GB) (Territories {Ire}) back in third. A delighted Buick said afterwards, “George was really bullish about her before the race-her prep has been faultless. This is a lucky spare ride for me. Ryan [Moore] was meant to ride her, [but] obviously he was in Australia this morning and I stepped in.” He added, “The filly was very tough. She really deserved to get that Group 1. She showed there what she's all about-she really knuckled down. Fair play to George in his team for having her in tip-top shape for tonight.” With Boughey and his partner at home awaiting the birth of their first child, assistant trainer Henry Morshead was on duty and said, “Her preparation into this has been very strong and her gate-work has been good all winter, which was a concern coming from Del Mar last time [where she was withdrawn at the start]. But God she's tough, she really sticks her head down, she's a real testament to the hard work everyone puts in at home.” Morshead added, “It's hugely special and Coolmore are unbelievably straightforward to deal with. We're hugely honoured to have her in the yard this year as a five-year-old.” Pedigree Notes Last year was a momentous one for Mehmas (Ire), who broke fellow Tally-Ho Stud resident Kodiac's long-standing record for the greatest number of juvenile winners achieved in a year. Such an achievement played a role in the stallion's stud fee justifiably rising from €50,000 to €70,000 this year. The success of Believing here could set the tone for what is shaping up to be a hugely exciting season for the stallion, who has a number of top-class prospects–including Classic contenders–to look forward to. Mehmas is now internationally recognised as a top-class stallion and Believing, who justified Coolmore's 3 million gns investment at last year's Tattersalls December Mares Sale, is also another high-profile graduate from that sales company's Craven Breeze-Up Sale. She is bred on the same Mehmas-Kodiac (GB) line that has also produced Wes Acre (Ire), who has been something of a revelation in Dubai over the past few months, but could only manage eighth when stepped back up to 6f in this race. As for Believing, she is out of an unraced sister to dual Group 3-winning sprinter Miss Sally (Ire) (Danetime {Ire}). 22. Japan earned their fourth consecutive G2 UAE Derby and fifth overall with the narrow victory of ADMIRE DAYTONA (JPN) (Drefong–Ice Pastel, by Shackleford) over the ultra game Heart Of Honor (GB) (Honor A. P.) at Meydan on Saturday. The latter's jockey Saffie Osborne was attempting to become the first female rider to win a race on Dubai World Cup night. The final time for the 1900 metres was 1:59.14. It was jockey Christophe Lemaire's second UAE Derby after he was aboard Derma Sotogake (Jpn) (Mind Your Biscuits) in 2023. Fourth to Luxor Café (American Pharoah) in the Listed Hyacinth Stakes in February, the colt earned 100 points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby with his victory on Saturday. One of the quickest away, he soon settled against the rail and set a pressured pace while shadowed by Rafid (Into Mischief). Heart Of Honor tracked in fourth, and Don In the Mood (Jpn) (Asia Express) ground into contention on the outside as noses pointed for home. The eventual top three locked horns at the 400-metre mark, Admire Daytona on the fence, Heart Of Honor in between horses, and Don In The Mood with ominous momentum on the outside. Relegated to third briefly, Admire Daytona rerallied and punched back to seize the advantage and just pip Heart Of Honor, who drifted towards the stands a touch late on. Don In The Mood tired to third, with Shin Forever (Complexity) best of the rest in fourth. Sales history: ¥66,000,000 Wlg '22 JRHAJUL. Lifetime Record: 6-2-2-0. O-Junko Kondo. 23. The Godolphin-owned Dubai Future (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) rolled back the years in more ways than one to win the G2 Dubai Gold Cup and provide Saeed bin Suroor, the most successful trainer in the history of the World Cup fixture, with an opportunity to bask in the limelight after a number of years out in the cold. And there was a touch of brilliance to the training performance with the nine-year-old Dubai Future notoriously tricky to keep sound. But produced at concert pitch by the trainer, the talented veteran ran out over two lengths too strong under Silvestre de Sousa for French raider Double Major (Ire) (Daiwa Major {Jpn}) with Epic Poet (Ire) (Lope De Vega {Ire}) back in third. The trainer said, “He has improved this year, even though I know he's nine years old but this year he came to Dubai a month ago and I know the way to train him. I told Silvestre to keep him behind and the key is to keep him relaxed.” Bin Suroor added, “He is a mile-and-a-quarter or mile-and-a-half horse but we tried him over a-mile-and-six and now two miles and he's done well.” A winner of the Group 3 Nad Al Sheba Trophy last time off the back of a 427-day absence, Dubai Future built on that performance to put in a career-best on Saturday to leave his rider suitably impressed. De Sousa said, “Congratulations to Saeed, he got him spot on today and this sets the horse up for the season. I told Saeed last time he only cantered round, just to take the freshness out of him.” He added, “Today my concern was just to get him relaxed and for the first half of the race I had him just the way I wanted. He was breathing well and relaxed and he just took me there. I'm delighted for His Highness [Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum] and thankful for having the opportunity to ride this horse.” Pedigree notes Dubai Future is the most prolific runner out of Street Cry mare Anjaz, who was a Grade 3 scorer herself over 1m4f in America having been trained initially by Saeed bin Suroor to win three races in Britain. Anjaz has produced four more individual winners, including talented types like Winter's Love (Ire) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) and After The Rain (Ire) (Shamardal). She is also a sister to Grade 2 scorer Giants Play (Giant's Causeway), who has produced three black-type performers, not to mention Listed winner Tearless (GB) (Street Cry), who is the dam of Oaks runner-up Dance Sequence (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}). Dubai Future, who has now won in excess of £1.7 million in prize-money throughout his career, is the grandson of G1 Fillies' Mile scorer Playful Act (Ire) (Sadler's Wells), who John Ferguson bought on behalf of Godolphin for $10,500,000 at Keeneland in 2007. 24. Raging Torrent (Maximus Mischief) made it back-to-back triumphs for trainer Chief Stipe O'Neill in the $1 million G2 Godolphin Mile sponsored by Emaar, producing an explosive performance from the front under Frankie Dettori to follow up his GI Malibu Stakes success at Santa Anita on Boxing Day. Closely attended by Mufasa (Chi) (Practical Joke) for much of the contest, Raging Torrent was soon in control once that rival cried enough inside the final two furlongs, powering clear thereafter to win by three and a half lengths in a time of 1:36.69. French raider King Gold (Fr) (Anodin {Ire}), the conqueror of Laurel River (Into Mischief) in January's G3 Firebreak Stakes, stayed on well from off the pace to fill the runner-up spot, with another half a length back to Japan's Kazu Petrin (Jpn) (Rulership {Jpn}) in third. Mufasa, the winner of December's GIII Mr. Prospector Stakes at Gulfstream Park, weakened out of the frame to finish sixth on his stable bow for Bhupat Seemar. For Raging Torrent it was a sixth career success, with the others including last year's GII Pat O'Brien Stakes at Del Mar, before he went on finish seventh behind Straight No Chaser (Speighster) in the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint at the same venue. Meanwhile, this victory was a third in the Godolphin Mile for O'Neill, who most recently struck with Two Rivers Over (Tamarkuz) last year, while Dettori was winning this Group 2 contest for a record-extending eighth time. “Eight Godolphin Miles, that's a hell of a record,” said the successful jockey. “I think it's fair to say I grew up here. It's great satisfaction coming back and winning–and hopefully I can win the World Cup again. “He [Raging Torrent] is such a lovely horse and he did the rest. You need the horse to lead like he did. He was quick away and I was able to do my own fractions. In fairness, he's always been a sprinter in America. So, I was thinking of that and I didn't want to kick too early.” O'Neill added, “I was confident, but that's why you run these races, you never know. He had a good, clean break, got the lead, got a little breather mid-race. Speed was always going to be his strength. I'm on cloud nine and I've got to thank everyone here.” Welcome back, @FrankieDettori The maestro dictates the @godolphin Mile, sponsored by @emaardubai, aboard #DWC25 | @emirates pic.twitter.com/o85KkfAKxY — Dubai Racing Club (@RacingDubai) April 5, 2025 Pedigree Notes The first top-level winner for the Spendthrift-based Maximus Mischief when successful in the Malibu, Raging Torrent is the lone starter from his dam, Violent Wave (Violence)–a half-sister to the GIII Shakertown Stakes winner The Nth Degree (Distorted Humor)–who was offered with the colt in utero at the 2021 Keeneland January Sale but was led out unsold on a bid of $27,000. Raging Torrent was himself bought back for the same price by his breeders, Rodney Winkler and Alfoso Mazzetti, at Keeneland September in 2022, while it was Mark Davis's name on the ticket when the colt fetched $75,000 at the 2023 OBS April Sale. He sported the silks of Zhang Yuesheng for the first time at Meydan, with the Yulong founder now owning the colt in partnership with Great Friends Stables. Violent Wave is also the dam of the three-year-old colt Contra Mundum (Honor A.P.), a $55,000 RNA at KEESEP in 2023, and the two-year-old filly Layan (Collected), who was exported to Saudi Arabia after being bought for $47,000 at KEENOV the same year. After failing to find a new home at $145,000 at Keeneland November in 2023, Violent Wave was entered for last year's KEENOV, subsequent to Raging Torrent's victory in the Pat O'Brien, but she was bought back on a bid of $575,000 in foal to Up to the Mark.
