ļthats a ridiculous statement, the way things are at present it will be many weeks before racing gets going,and it will not be like it was before, if we take the attitude as stated we just as well chuck the towel in! How come Australia can race,all be it with no patrons, successfully, surely we could have had a similar program on specific courses. As a syndicate member of several horses I'd rather have some racing than none at all, even if I can't see my horse/s. Carry on for many weeks like we are ,and our product will be at risk of imploding. Many small operators will be gone and no worries about shutting tracks they will have to.
