  1. Not as bad as the Open 1200 at Pukekohe on Sat for $65k, only 7 horses and average rating of 80.57. Riccarton is punching.
  2. If you have a look at the rules, Sth Island horses can still go to Trentham and race at their carnival.
  3. https://loveracing.nz/RaceInfo/42384/Meeting-News-Article.aspx
  4. “Open to all horses trained by a trainer operating a Trainers Premises (as defined in the Rules) located in the South Island as at 1 August 2023” Which North Island trainers operate a Trainers Premise in the Sth as at 1 August 2023? Is it just Marsh Racing?
  5. You might want to double check that statement, “on all measures walker was streets ahead”……..a number of other trainers have higher ave stakes per winners and black type wins per total stable starts. Get your blinkers off and go have a good look at other trainers stat’s, e.g Forsman, Sharrock, Roger James, Latta, Noble, etc.
  6. Te Akau ave stake per win last season was $49,145…….and as you say $41k this season…..what do i need to double check
  7. 20% decrease on the previous season
  8. How about you add Marks record to Jamie to get “Te Akau” total numbers for last season….then come back to me
  9. 1290 starts this season for Te Akau…An extra 537 starters this season vs last season, yet same number of black type wins……Chief i think my point is pretty obvious
  10. Wrong…Te Akau 33 black type in nz last season
  11. Te Akau starters last season 753 (33 black type wins) Te Akau starters this season 1290 (33 black type wins)
  12. But you don't want to reward mediocery?
