'TDN Rising Star' Prince of Monaco (Speightstown–Rainier by Medaglia D'Oro) rolled from off the pace to nab the GIII Best Pal S. at Del Mar on Sunday afternoon. The victory was his first graded stakes win of his career, which came after a sparkling debut at Los Alamitos Race Course back in July.

Sent on his way as the second choice on the tote behind stablemate and favorite Muth (Good Magic), the bay colt waited to make his run until the far turn, but with a burst of speed at the top of the lane, he sped home with authority over the other Bob Baffert trainee to win the Best Pal by four widening lengths.

The final running time was 1:0919. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0. Sales History: $950,000 '22 FTSAUG.
