Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted August 31, 2023 Journalists Posted August 31, 2023 France-Galop President Baron Edouard de Rothschild, who has served the French Thoroughbred industry in that role for 16 years, will not seek another term when his current one ends in December, he told Jour de Galop on Thursday. Baron de Rothschild, who operates Haras de Meautry and has enjoyed particular success this summer with dual Group 1-winning homebred Msqe De Sevigne (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}), served as president from 2003-2011 and 2015 to present. “After thinking about it a lot this summer, I have decided not to run for the Presidency of France Galop at the end of the current mandate,” De Rothschild told the French publication on Thursday. “I had the honour of chairing France Galop for 16 years. I would now like to give more time to my family and dedicate myself to other challenges, in particular within the Rothschild Bank and in my Thoroughbred breeding.” The post France-Galop President Baron Edouard De Rothschild Will Not Seek Another Term appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
