Leopardstown's Irish Champions card continued to churn out top-class winners on Saturday, with The Aga Khan's G1 Irish 1000 Guineas and G1 Coronation S. heroine Tahiyra (Ire) (Siyouni {Fr}–Tarana {Ire}, by Cape Cross {Ire}) the latest to strike in the G1 Coolmore America “Justify” Matron S. With the fellow Dermot Weld-trained Homeless Songs (Ire) (Frankel {GB}) ruled out due to the prevailing fast ground, the half-sister to Tarnawa (Ire) (Shamardal) had an easier task and Chris Hayes was always oozing confidence on the TDN Rising Star behind the leaders. Storming to the front a furlong out, the 5-6 favourite had 1 1/4 lengths to spare over Rogue Millennium (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) at the line, with half a length back to Just Beautiful (GB) (Pride Of Dubai {Aus}) in third.
