Just minutes after Spendthrift's Into Mischief got his first seven-figure yearling Wednesday, Coolmore's Uncle Mo followed suit with a $1-million colt of his own. Hip 528, a Jan. 13 son of Flighty Almighty (GB) (Elusive Quality), was purchased by Pin Oak Stud's Jim and Dana Bernhard. The pair have made headlines recently with their acquisition of an Adena Springs property and with their GI Haskell S. winner Geaux Rocket Ride (Candy Ride {Arg}). Their new Uncle Mo purchase was consigned by Hunter Valley Farm and bred by Chasemore Farm in Kentucky. His dam is a half-sibling to two black-type winners, including English GSW Boomer (GB) (Kingman {GB}).
