Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted September 18, 2023 Journalists Share Posted September 18, 2023 What Swan Hill Races Where Swan Hill Jockey Club – 17 Gray St, Swan Hill VIC 3585 When Tuesday, September 19, 2023 First Race 12:15pm AEST Visit Ladbrokes Victorian racing heads to Swan Hill Jockey Club on Tuesday afternoon, with eight races awaiting punters. With perfect weather conditions forecast in the lead-up, we will be racing on a Good 4 track, while the rail comes out 3m from the 800m-400m and then stays true the remainder. The action gets underway at 1:30pm AEST. Best Bet at Swan Hill – Double Rock The Tom Dabernig-trained Double Rock hardly knows how to run a poor race, and second-up from a spell, this Pierro mare can bring up a second career win. The five-year-old returned with a minor placing at Warrnambool, leading the field up only to be overpowered late on over 1200m. She stays at 1200m, and with Luke Cartwright hopping on board with his 4kg claim, she gets in perfectly with 55.5kg on her back. In a race where she should gain an uncontested lead, Double Rock will prove too hard to run down. Best Bet Race 7 – #5 Double Rock (10) 5yo Mare | T: Tom Dabernig | J: Luke Cartwright (a4) (59.5kg) +130 with Neds Next Best at Swan Hill – Rule Of Time Having destroyed her rivals in maiden company at Benella on September 5, the Leon & Troy Corstens-trained Rule Of Time looks a great bet. The four-year-old mare settled midfield in the moving line, and on the home turn it was clear she had the race within her grasp. She produced a strong turn of foot over the 1406m, and the step up to 1600m second-up looks ideal for this Sebring mare. From barrier two she should gain a perfect run in transit, and with a similar finishing sprint, Rule Of Time should prove too good for this BM64 field. Next Best Race 6 – #8 Rule Of Time (2) 4yo Mare | T: Leon & Troy Corstens | J: Billy Egan (57kg) +200 with PendleburyBet Best Value at Swan Hill – Gigaton With three trials under his belt ahead of his return, we expect the Ben Brisbourne-trained Gigaton to return a winner on Tuesday. The four-year-old showed plenty on debut at Bendigo almost 12 months ago but has not been seen since. He draws to gain a perfect run in transit from barrier one under Billy Egan, and if he can replicate what he put forward on debut, it should be good enough to clear maiden ranks at start two. Best Value Race 3 – #3 Gigaton (1) 4yo Horse | T: Ben Brisbourne | J: Billy Egan (59.5kg) +250 with Dabble Tuesday quaddie tips for Swan Hill Swan Hill quadrella selections Tuesday, September 19, 2023 1-2-3-5-6 4-8 5 1-3-5-8-11 Investment: $50 for 100% More horse racing tips View the full article
