Former Kentucky Governor and Airdrie Stud founder Brereton Jones passed away Monday at the age of 84. The announcement was made via social media. Brereton served as Kentucky's Lt. Governor from 1987-1991 before being elected Governor in 1991, an office he held until 1995. Per current KY Governor Andy Beshear, the family will release a statement in the coming days.
