Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted September 23, 2023 Journalists Posted September 23, 2023 Dancing amid the slop at Parx Racing, it was Ceiling Crusher (Mr. Big–Palisadesprincess by Indian Charlie) who went gate to wire and took home the GI Cotillion S. on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Off a six-length front-running victory last time out in the GIII Torrey Pines S. at Del Mar Sept. 2, the Doug O'Neill trainee went off at 3-1 and led into the first turn. Never under pressure up the backstretch and into the final turn, Ceiling Crusher dug down deep to cross the wire first, despite a game challenge past the sixteenth pole from favorite MGISW Pretty Mischievous (Into Mischief) who ended up second. The final running time was 1:45.3. Lifetime Record: 7-6-0-1. Sales History: NCAAUG21, $22,000.
