The rail is out +3m for the meeting, and with nothing but clear skies predicted leading into race day, we expect the Soft 6 track listed at the time of writing to be upgraded into the Good range. The opening race is set to get underway at 1:25pm AEDT. Best Bet at Warwick Farm: Spacewalk Spacewalk will resume from a 114-day spell on Monday afternoon, and although the son of Exosphere has never won first-up in his career, we’re confident that can change. He should’ve won first-up last preparation with luck and went on to win twice throughout the campaign, with his best win coming in the Listed June Stakes at Randwick on June 10. He’s trialed up beautifully leading into this race, and provided James McDonald can see daylight, Spacewalk should prove the class. Best Bet Race 6 – #4 Spacewalk (1) 4yo Gelding | T: James Cummings | J: James McDonald (56kg) $2.30 with Pendlebury Bet Next Best at Warwick Farm: Lost Lost will be searching for back-to-back wins after a terrific effort at Canterbury on September 13. The James Cummings-trained galloper put away a strong field on that occasion, with the likes of Kundalini and Groundrush proving no match for the filly by Exceed And Excel. We’ll be looking to roll over the short-priced favourite in the form of Facile, and with two extra runs so far in the campaign, we think Lost can do exactly that. Next Best Race 1 – #4 Lost (5) 3yo Filly | T: James Cummings | J: Zac LLoyd (58kg) $5.00 with Neds Best Value at Warwick Farm: Darlington County Superstitious looks ready to peak third-up into his debut preparation and should appreciate getting to the 1600m for the first time. He’s been dropped out to the rear of the field in both starts to date, and although it looks like another tricky barrier to overcome, we’re hopeful Tim Clark elects to go forward. The mile looks ideal based on the breeding on the dam’s side, and at the each-way odds with online bookmakers, we’re wiling to take the leap on Superstitious. Best Value Race 5 – #7 Superstitious (10) 3yo Colt | T: Gerald Ryan & Sterling Alexiou | J: Tim Clark (55kg) $11 with Betfair Monday quaddie tips for Warwick Farm races Warwick Farm quadrella selections Monday, October 2, 2023 3-4-6-7-8 4-5 2-3-8-9-10 1-2-6-7-9-12-13 | Copy this bet straight to your betslip More horse racing tips View the full article
