Ocala Stud released their 2024 stud fees for its roster of nine stallions for the upcoming breeding season, led by GI Santa Anita Derby winner Roadster (Quality Road) who will stand his second season at stud for $7,500 S&N, the farm said in a release early Wednesday morning.

Roadster is out of the stakes-winning and stakes-producing Silver Ghost mare Ghost Dancing and is a half-brother to Grade I winner and Keeneland track-record setter Ascend (Candy Ride {Arg}). Roadster was sold by his breeder–Arthur Hancock III's Stone Farm–at the Keeneland September Sale for $525,000.

Joining him will be Colonel Liam (Liam's Map), who will also stand his second season for a fee of $6,500 S&N. A back-to-back winner of the GI Pegasus Turf Invitational S. at Gulfstream Park and the hero of the GI Turf Classic S. at Churchill Downs, the $1.2 million graduate of the OBS Spring Sale was purchased by Jacob West on behalf of Robert and Lawana Low.

GISW Win Win Win (Hat Trick {Jpn}) and GISW Seeking the Soul (Perfect Soul {Ire}) were each represented by first yearlings in 2023 and will once again stand for $5,000 S&N. The former, who captured the GI Forego S. at Saratoga, stands as the property of a partnership between Live Oak Stud, Airdrie Stud, and Ocala Stud. As for the latter, a Charles Fipke homebred, he is the winner of the GI Clark H. at Churchill Downs.

MGISP Awesome Slew (Awesome Again), the leading freshman sire in Florida last year, will stand for $4,000 S&N this coming season. He has been represented in the auction ring this year with 2-year-olds bringing up to $700,000.

The complete roster with fees for Ocala Stud is as follows:

  • Roadster–$7,500
  • Colonel Liam–$6,500
  • Seeking the Soul–$5,000
  • Win Win Win–$5,000
  • Awesome Slew–$4,000
  • Adios Charlie–$3,000
  • Gretzky the Great–$3,000
  • Battalion Runner–$2,500
  • Dak Attack–$2,500
