Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 9, 2023 Journalists Posted November 9, 2023 Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 148 entries for the main catalogue of the Midlantic December Mixed Sale, to be held starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, the auction house said in a release Thursday. “This is an important sale for the Midlantic region,” said Midlantic Director of Sales Paget Bennett. “There are several quality producers catalogued, as well as weanlings from a variety of state-bred programs by both leading national and regional sires.” The main catalogue consists of broodmares, broodmare prospects, weanlings and yearlings. Fasig-Tipton will also offer a Horses of Racing Age supplement for the seventh consecutive year and entries will continue to be accepted through late November. “Horses of racing age are one of the strongest segments of the market,” said Bennett. “We encourage sellers to take advantage of Midlantic December and utilize its Horses of Racing Supplement which delivers quality results year-after-year.” The Midlantic December Mixed catalogue may now be viewed online and will be available in the Equineline app. Print catalogues are now available from all Fasig-Tipton offices.
