Visit Dabble

NSW provincial racing heads to Gosford on Tuesday afternoon for a quickfire seven-race program kicking off at 1:10pm AEDT. The rail is out +3m the entire circuit, and with only a minor chance of showers in the lead-up, we’re confident the track should be a Good 4. Read on to see HorseBetting’s Gosford racing tips for the day.

Best Bet: Thermodynamic

Thermodynamic returned on the Kensington track at Randwick on October 18, and although he was beaten by 2.9 lengths, we liked what we saw from the son of Kodiac. He sat on the outside of the eventual winner throughout the 1300m contest and just faltered late due to fitness. The 1600m should be ideal, with the three-year-old bred to stay over a trip, and with Jason Collett set to take the reins in what looks a much easier maiden, Thermodynamic will test these.

Best Bet

Race 3 – #1 Thermodynamic (7)

3yo Gelding | T: Chris Waller | J: Jason Collett (59kg)

-142.86 with Betfair

Next Best: Yankee One

Yankee One broke her maiden on debut at this course on October 26 and looks perfectly placed to go back-to-back. The daughter of Snitzel went on to score by 1.6 lengths and seemingly had plenty left in the tank after circling most of her rivals to secure victory. The Ciaron Maher & David Eustace barn had Yankee One flying at the trials prior to that first-up success, and provided she’s entering this contest in similar order, we expect her to put them away again.

Next Best

Race 2 – #5 Yankee One (4)

3yo Filly | T: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace | J: Jason Collett (58kg)

+115 with Bet365

Best Value: Ravisher

Ravisher will return to the races after 132 days off the scene but looks to be jumping out extremely well. Her two starts last preparation left a lot to be desired, as the now four-year-old was unable to make an impression. Both performances were at metropolitan level, so as she steps back to provincial grade, we’re keen to see if Ravisher can pick up a maiden win.

Best Value

Race 5 – #6 Ravisher (3)

4yo Mare | T: Chris Waller | J: Kathy O’Hara (57kg)

+600 with Bet365
