Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted November 27, 2023 Journalists Share Posted November 27, 2023 What Wyong Races Where Wyong Race Club & Function Centre – 71-73 Howarth St, Wyong NSW 2259 When Wednesday, November 29, 2023 First Race 1:25pm AEDT Visit Dabble Wyong sets the scene on Wednesday afternoon with an ultra-competitive eight-race program set for decision. The rail is out +3m the entire circuit, and with the weather doing track curators no favours, the surface is expected to be a worsening Heavy 8. The opening race is scheduled for 1:25pm AEDT. Best Bet: Flying Rani Flying Rani broke her maiden at start two and did so despite tough circumstances. She sat wide without cover at Gosford on November 14 but still proved too good for her rivals, powering through the wire to score by a length under Zac Lloyd. The daughter of Flying Artie finds a wet track for the first time on Wednesday, but provided she handles the testing conditions, Flying Rani must be considered the one to beat. Best Bet Race 3 – #3 Flying Rani (2) 4yo Filly | T: Matthew Smith | J: Zac Lloyd (58kg) Bet with Betfair Next Best: Red Cobra Red Cobra had been testing the patience of punters but finally chalked up a maiden success at this course and distance on November 11. The four-year-old was able to take a sit mid-field with cover under Anna Roper before showing a devastating turn of foot to secure a much-deserved victory. This Class 1 contest is much tougher, but with another soft draw in barrier five, Red Cobra should get every chance to make it back-to-back wins. Next Best Race 2 – #3 Red Cobra (5) 4yo Gelding | T: Damien Lane | J: Anna Roper (a3kg) (57.5kg) Bet with Unibet Next Best Again: Vomo Island Vomo Island is winless after six starts for the Peter & Paul Snowden barn and returns after a gelding operation. His barrier trial at Randwick on November 20 suggests it could unlock the best of this three-year-old, and his form prior reads well, with a competitive effort in the Group 3 Ming Dynasty Quality (1400m) on September 9. He’s got the class edge on most of his rivals, and if Vomo Island doesn’t win here, it may be hard to justify backing him again. Next Best Again Race 4 – #5 Vomo Island (3) 3yo Gelding | T: Peter & Paul Snowden | J: Kerrin McEvoy (57kg) Bet with Bet365 Wyong Wednesday quaddie tips – 29/11/2023 Wyong quadrella selections Wednesday, November 29, 2023 2-8-9-10 2-3-5-6 3-5-8-10 1-3-4-6 | Copy this bet straight to your betslip All horse racing tips View the full article
