Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted December 6, 2023 Journalists Share Posted December 6, 2023 Race 1 DOUG QUALTROUGH CONTRACTOR MAIDEN 2200 CRYSTAL FALLS (C Barnes) – Marsh Racing Trainer Assistant Mr. R Mildon advised Stewards, the mare was transported to Cambridge Equine Clinic where she required stitches to the right hind leg. R Mildon further advised CRYSTAL FALLS has now been placed on box rest for three months and from there will then be sent for a spell. Race 5 RECREATIONAL SERVICES MAIDEN 1200 GAME DUKE (G Lahoud) – Co-trainer Mr. S Ritchie reported to Stewards, that on Friday 1 December GAME DUKE underwent a veterinary examination which showed no signs of lameness or any other obvious abnormalities. S Ritchie further advised it is the stables intention to continue with the gelding’s current preparation and may also look to nominate GAME DUKE for the Matamata RC meeting on Friday 22 December. Race 6 CAPISTRANO LODGE MAIDEN 1200 I’MUNSTOPPABLE (J Doyle) – Co-trainer Mr. A Scott advised Stewards, the stable was satisfied with the post-race condition of the filly, and it is their intention to carry on with I’MUNSTOPPABLE’S current preparation, where they may nominate her for the Matamata RC meeting on Friday 22 December.
