Lightly raced but with plenty of potential, Legalize (c, 2, Constitution–Allez Marie, by Unbridled's Song) was part of the early pace rush and despite being floated very wide coming into the lane, the Cherie DeVaux trainee proved too much to reel in for 'TDN Rising Star' American Rascal (Curlin) en route to scoring his career-first black type in the Sugar Bowl S. Agoo (Munnings) rounded out the trifecta. The final time was 1:10.56.
