The time of 1:07.50 bettered the stakes mark set by Blue Point (Ire) (Shamardal) of 1:08.39 set in 2019. The 6-year-old gelding was always prominently placed on the far side several paths off the fence with most of the field, and gradually edged to the front before withstanding the closing rush of Star Of Mystery (GB) (Kodiac {GB}), receiving a 13-pound break in the weights, running second by three-quarters of a length.
