Coming back with a pair of bullet works over the Saratoga training track, the chestnut came away well here at a tick over 2-1 and tracked from third through quick splits of :22.53 and :45.29. Assuming command at the top of the lane under confident handling, he kicked away past midstretch and held sway from late-running Network Effect (Mark Valeski) to score by 1 1/2 lengths in 1:36.62.
