(Pat Scala/Racing Photos) Ballarat-based trainer Andrew Noblet has disclosed plans to convene with Foxy Frida’s connections following the mare’s draw of barrier 15 for the upcoming Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) at Randwick this Saturday. In light of this draw, Foxy Frida’s owners face a pivotal decision: whether to proceed with the $1 million Group 1 event or redirect her to Bendigo for the Listed Golden Mile (1600m) on the same day. This choice looms after her recent eighth-place finish in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m). “She’s going very well, she worked great, she gets to what I think is her pet distance, a mile,” stated Noblet to Racing.com. “It’s just a shame we have to overcome a wide gate, that’s all. “She’s in the Chairman’s sale in May, that is the ultimate thing we’re trying to do, get her Group 1-placed or win one with her, but we’re running out of time, put it that way.” 2024 Queen of The Turf Stakes Final Field 1.
