Country racing returns to the Riverina region of NSW on Monday afternoon, where the Albury Racing Club gets set to host a quickfire seven-race program. The rail moves back to the true position throughout the entire circuit, and with sunny skies predicted in the lead-up, punters can expect a genuine Good 4 track prior to the opening event at 1:05pm local time.

Albury Best Bet: Bravo A Go Go

Bravo A Go Go heads to the races for the first time on the back of one strong barrier trial at Wagga Wagga on March 28 and appears to be a fair price with online betting sites. She knuckled down to the task nicely when asked for an effort under Kayla Nisbet, educating herself as she circled the majority of the eight runners engaged in the jump-out. Watch for Nisbet to drop in for cover on Monday, and when asked to extend, Bravo A Go Go can produce a debut victory.

Best Bet

Race 2 – #3 Bravo A Go Go (6)

3yo Filly | T: Daug Gorrel | J: Kayla Nisbet (58.5kg)

+400 with Picklebet

Next Best at Terang: Snap Book

Next Best: Race 7 #3 Snap Book (5) 5YOG @$3.50 | T: Donna Scott | J: Coriah Keatings (a2kg) (63.5kg)
Snap Book has been a handy type for the Donna Scott barn and looked ready to peak third-up into the campaign. The son of Fighting Sun was trucking through the wire at his most recent outing at this course on March 22, suggesting the step up to 1600m would be ideal for the five-year-old gelding. He maps to gain a mid-field sit with cover, and with claiming apprentice Coriah Keatings hopping aboard to get 2kg of his back, Snap Book looks perfectly placed to secure win number four.

Next Best

Race 7 – #3 Snap Book (5)

5yo Gelding | T: Donna Scott | J: Coriah Keatings (63.5kg)

+250 with Neds

Best Value Bet: Bobotov

Bobotov ran into a smart one in the form of Wal’s Angel last start at Albury on March 21 and should take major benefit from that effort. He was only beaten 2.7 lengths on the wire and continued to whack away gallantly despite being no match for the eventual winner. The son of Press Statement has shown good early toe in the past, so expect Laura Lafferty to lead or sit outside the lead turning for home, giving followers a bold sight at each-way odds with the top horse racing bookmakers.

Best Value

Race 5 – #6 Bobotov (2)

4yo Gelding | T: Rob Wellington | J: Laura Lafferty (57.5kg)

+1000 with Playup
