First Race 12:35pm AEST

Visit Dabble

NSW racing heads to Kembla Grange on Tuesday afternoon, with a quickfire seven-race program set for decision. The rail is out +6m for the entire circuit, and although the surface is rated a Soft 5 as of Monday, a favourable forecast in the lead-up should mean an upgrade into the Good range prior to the opening event at 12:35pm AEST.

Best Bet: Monte Kate

Monte Kate was unable to cling to victory at this course and distance on May 18, but she looks perfectly placed to make amends in this Class 1 contest. The daughter of I Am Invincible attempted making every post winner last start but faded late due to the testing Heavy surface. Getting back on top of the ground should be ideal, and with Tommy Berry taking the reins this time, watch for Monte Kate to boot clear with the prize.

Best Bet

Race 4 – Monte Kate#5 Monte Kate (7)

3yo Filly | T: Robert & Luke Price | J: Tommy Berry (57.5kg)

+200 with Bet365

Next Best: Vanquished

Vanquished steps back significantly in grade after a bold display at Randwick on May 15. The gelding by Vancouver tried to lead all the way on the Kensington circuit but gave way due to a lack of fitness first-up in Heavy conditions. This Class 1 should prove far more manageable for the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained three-year-old, and with some upside compared to a few key rivals, Vanquished will prove hard to hold out.

Next Best

Race 2 – Vanquished#1 Vanquished (3)

3yo Gelding | T: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott | J: Jean Van Overmeire (61.5kg)

+260 with Unibet

Next Best Again: Goodlucktome

Goodlucktome appears to have a stack of ability heading into his debut for the Ciaron Maher barn. The son of Written Tycoon has won back-to-back barrier trials, with the latest piece of work at Rosehill on May 17 catching the eye as he cruised through the wire under his own steam. Jason Collett may be forced to drag back from barrier 11, but with plenty of time to wind up, watch for Goodlucktome to power over the top.

Next Best Again

Race 3 – Goodlucktome#8 Goodlucktome (11)

2yo Colt | T: Ciaron Maher | J: Jason Collett (56.5kg)

+300 with Neds
