Holding a slender advantage throughout, the 8-11 favourite came under pressure when threatened on both sides at the quarter-mile marker and kept on in resolute fashion to deny the persistent challenge of Could She Be Magic (GB) (Time Test {GB}) by a neck, becoming the first winner for her freshman sire (by Dandy Man {Ire}).
