Public Holiday racing heads to Canterbury Park Racecourse on Monday afternoon, with a competitive eight-race program set for decision. The rail is in the true position the entire circuit, and with no significant rainfall predicted across the long weekend, the surface should be upgraded to the Soft range prior to the opening event at 12:15pm local time. Check out our best bets and quaddie numbers for June 10 down below.

Best Bet at Canterbury: Sharon Drive

Sharon Drive has caught the eye at the barrier trials heading into her debut for the Chris Waller barn. The daughter of Zousain was held together in a recent piece of work at Rosehill on May 24, with the two-year-old clicking through the gears comfortably despite the four-length margin. She’s done it all under her own steam so far, so with James McDonald likely to drag back from barrier 13, punters should finally get the chance to witness what Sharon Drive is made of.

Best Bet

Race 2 – Sharon Drive Silks #10 Sharon Drive (13)

2yo Filly | T: Chris Waller | J: James McDonald (56kg)

+200 with Neds

Next Best: All In The Mind

After 488 days off the scene, the Bjorn Baker-trained All In The Mind returns in this wide-open BM72 contest. The Irish Import only had one Australian start last preparation, finishing mid-field at Warwick Farm on February 2 last year. His trials have left a bit to be desired, however, with the five-year-old likely to relish conditions stepping up to the mile first-up, All In The Mind warrants respect at the +700 available with online bookmakers.

Next Best

Race 5 – All In The Mind Silks #3 All In The Mind (7)

5yo Gelding | T: Bjorn Baker | J: Joshua Parr (60kg)

+700 with PlayUp

Best Value at Canterbury: Primo

Primo had no luck last start at this course and distance on May 29 and is worth forgiving despite the seven-length defeat. The progressive son of Sizzling was three wide without cover the entire journey, unable to get any breather mid-race under Tyler Schiller. Zac Lloyd has the task to get in this time, and although he’s drawn awkwardly again from stall, but provided Primo can get cover throughout, he should be figuring in this.

Best Value

Race 4 – Primo Silks #10 Primo (15)

4yo Gelding | T: Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes | J: Zac Lloyd (58.5kg)

+1200 with Dabble
