With favored Program Trading (GB) (Lope de Vega {Ire}) stalking him from behind and revving up for a stretch attack, Measured Time cornered wide into the lane, but was kept to task and raced clear to stop the clock in a snappy 1:51.94 for the mile and three-sixteenths on a course that was yielding quick times on the day. “It's been a long three days. I'm in a very fortunate position to be able to come here and ride these horses. I appreciate every moment of it,” winning rider William Buick told Maggie Wolfendale on horseback. Nations Pride (Ire) (Teofilo {Ire}), whose lone trip to Saratoga resulted in a 1 3/4-length victory in the 2022 GI Saratoga Derby, closed for second ahead of Far Bridge (English Channel) in third.
