hesi
If they had awards for best photograph of the year, this would get it, classic. What do they say nowadays, it would go viral Fortunately no serious consequences for drivers or horses, so okay to talk about it. Ben Hur would love it
Thomass
What do you mean Okay to talk about it? Trackside immediately blacked out the screen...and refused to show replays.... ...when Guerin was asking "wtf happened...where's the replay" Then O'Connor tells us...the boys had to sit on that horses head to stop it getting up" So all of those on course saw what was happening...but Trackside decided to use the PC option and censor real life Like deciding not to replay last fence falls...when viewers with My Sky can view it countless times...bizarre
hesi
In fairness to Trackside, and hindsight being a wonderful thing. They didn't know there were not any serious consequences coming out of the incident, such as a horse breaking a leg or a driver being seriously injured. In the case of the latter there are family to think about

Funny how stuff had this article up in record time, but nothing about the real winning performances over cup week.

Take that spectacular crash in F3...If she'd have died the World would have shown it still...repeatedly ...nothing but nothing stops any PC treatment these days If the crowd on any race course witnesses real life tragedy...if it came to that...why stop those watching on live television...especially when most have instant replay Will they stop the replay of this years Melbourne Cup due to a horse breaking its leg? Why do NZTR insist on cameras being turned off when a filly is getting the buggy whip around her hocks when refusing to enter the stalls? Thats what happens in real life...just accept the good with the bad if that's the sport we're in? We watched live pictures of the CCTV Building post Earthquake...knowing people were suffering inside...and they're still showing it
