The final Happy Valley meeting of the Hong Kong racing season is lined up for Wednesday evening, with a competitive nine-part program set for decision. The rail is in the B position throughout the night, and with no significant rain fall expected to hit the course proper, punters can expect a Good 4 surface. All the action under lights is scheduled to get underway at 6:35pm local time.

Best Bet at Happy Valley: Supreme Agility

Supreme Agility appears set to peak fourth-up into the campaign after a barnstorming effort at this track on June 26. The four-year-old was last turning for home on that occasion, making strong inroads but running out of time to get within two lengths of Chain Of Gold. The extra 150m in this Class 3 contest should be ideal, and with Hong Kong’s leading hoop Zac Purton in the saddle, Supreme Agility will prove hard to hold out as he attempts to break his maiden status.

Next Best at Happy Valley: Prince Of Porty

Prince Of Porty looks perfectly placed to pick up his first win of the preparation. He comes through a strong form race at Sha Tin on June 2, only being headed by Lucy In The Sky and Steps Ahead, both of which appear to have plenty of upside. David Hall applies blinkers for the first time as Hugh Bowman hops in the saddle, and with barrier one to aid him on his journey, Prince Of Porty should be figuring in the finish.

Best Value at Happy Valley: Brave Witness

Although Brave Witness is winless heading into start 12, the four-year-old appears close to shirking the maiden tag. His last effort at this course and distance resulted in a runner-up finish behind Cordyceps One on May 1, being forced to sprint off a comically slow tempo. He’s only been defeated by a combined two lengths since that performance, and as Karis Teetan hops aboard from barrier one, punters can expect that trend to continue at an each-way price with online bookmakers.
