Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted July 19, 2024 Journalists Posted July 19, 2024 The dictionary definition of 'game' and armed with a knack for good timing, Book'em Danno (g, 3, Bucchero–Adorabella, by Ghostzapper) provided fans and backers with an unexpected thriller in the Jersey Shore Stakes. He was well off the lead this time as the short field disputed the issue amongst themselves, and had to overcome traffic through the far turn, but overcome he did. Book'em Danno was last seen holding off a hard-charging Prince of Monaco (Speightstown) in the GI Woody Stephens Stakes at Saratoga June 8 during the Belmont Stakes festival.
