In a massive digital catalogue featuring 2-year-olds, horses of racing age, breeding stock, weanlings, yearlings, and a stallion prospect, the Fasig-Tipton July Digital Sale closed Tuesday evening with 161 horses sold for $4,296,200. The full results are available at Fasig-Tipton's site.

“This was our inaugural July Digital Sale and we're thrilled with the results,” said Fasig-Tipton's Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron. “It was a very strong digital sale with record participation from buyers and sellers and a rock-solid 83 percent clearance rate.”

Graded winner Nadette (Fr) (Outrstrip {GB}) topped the sale, selling for $420,000 to Stepaside Farm LLC. Consigned as a racing or broodmare prospect by Team Valor International, she is currently located at Colonial Downs, where she won the July 13 Beverly D. Preview Stakes and is nominated to the Aug. 10 GII Beverly D. Stakes, a Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” qualifier.

“Team Valor is very happy with the sale of Nadette,” said Team Valor CEO Barry Irwin. “We changed our business model a couple of years ago to be more commercial, so that instead of consuming the product until the end of a horse's racing life, we look to sell them when they still have racing life left in them. With fillies and mares, it is always better to sell for a racing rather than a broodmare value. This worked out well for our partners.”

Among the 161 horses sold were 22 yearlings; six weanlings; 25 mares with foals-at-foot; 38 broodmares; and 60 racehorses.

Other top sellers included Right Prevails (Successful Appeal), from the Lakin Estate & Thomas Partnership, who sold for $310,000 to Sequel New York. The mare, a full-sister to SW & MGISP Closing Argument, sold with her 2024 New York-foaled colt by Jackie's Warrior and was offered in foal to Forte. Another sales leader was One Front War (War Front), who sold for $220,000 to Maker from the consignment of Four Star Sales, agent. The 3-year-old filly was second on debut at Woodbine on July 11.

Fasig-Tipton's next digital sale will be the August Digital Sale, which opens for bidding on Thursday, Aug. 22 and closes on Tuesday, Aug. 27. Nominations are now being accepted with entries closing Aug. 14.
