Fasig-Tipton Digital's Midsummer Flash Sale concluded Thursday afternoon with the two offerings both sold for a combined gross of $830,000. The first offering, Hip 1, MGSW & GISP Emmanuel (More Than Ready), sold for $500,000 to trainer Michael Maker. Consigned by WinStar Farm LLC, agent as a racing or stallion prospect, Emmanuel had captured five graded races on the grass, including the 2024 GIII Canadian Turf Stakes at Gulfstream in March, and was most recently fourth in the July 20 GII United Nations Stakes at Monmouth. Currently stabled at Saratoga, Emmanual brought of record of 16-7-0-2 and earnings of $748,005 into the sale.

“We are very pleased with Emmanuel's sale on Fasig-Tipton Digital,” said WinStar President and CEO Elliott Walden. “The sales process was seamless, and our horse was well marketed and promoted to a diverse group of buyers. We're thrilled with the price and happy he is going to a top barn in trainer Michael Maker.”

Ten minutes after bidding closed on Emmanuel, a 33% ownership interest in Hip 2, Iscreamuscream (Twirling Candy), was sold for 330,000 to Agave Racing Stable. Undefeated in three starts, including the July 20 GII San Clemente H. at Del Mar, the stake in the sophomore filly was consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency. Phil D'Amato trains Iscreamuscream, who is targeting the GI Del Mar Oaks.

“This sale was a homerun for our racing syndicate,” said Billy Koch of Little Red Feather Racing.  “Having an outlet like Fasig-Tipton Digital to sell ownership interests in our horses opens a whole new world of opportunity for us. We're absolutely thrilled to be partnering again with Mark Martinez and Agave Racing as we chase bigger prizes with Iscreamuscream. Hopefully, we will have another Grade 1 winner like Fault!”

D'Amato trained Fault (Blame) to a win in the 2018 GI Santa Margarita Stakes for Little Red Feather and Agave Racing Stable

Fasig-Tipton Digital's next scheduled sale will be held Aug. 22-27, with nominations closing Aug. 14.  Contact Leif Aaron at laaron@fasigtipton.com or log on to fasigtipton.co/clientportal to nominate.
