The post time for the first race at Delaware Park has been moved up an hour to 11:30a.m. due to the forecasted excessive heat in the area Wednesday, Aug. 28. Additionally, there will be approximately a half hour in between each race on the eight-race card.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecasted heat index will be near 105 degrees for the region Wednesday afternoon.

First post for Friday, Aug. 29 is expected to return to 12:30p.m.
