Fasig-Tipton-Winner-Logo.jpgOff a nine-month layoff, BRIGHTWORK (f, 3, Outwork–Clarendon Fancy, by Malibu Moon) got right back to her winning ways with a gusty effort to win the GIII Prioress Stakes at Saratoga Saturday. Pressing the pace second outside of Two Sharp (Twirling Candy), the 5-2 favorite, who scratched from the GI Test Stakes after falling in the paddock pre-race, was the one who kept on going down the stretch, just edging away from her rival in the final strides to earn the victory. Miuccia (Mitole) was rolling late to be third. Lifetime Record: GISW, 7-5-0-0.

O-WSS Racing; B-Wynnstay INC & H Allen Poindexter; T-John Ortiz. Sales History: $95,000 wlg '21 FTKNOV.
