Dubawi’s Idea Generation Stuns in Flower Bowl, War Like Goddess Second

Loose on the lead and recognized as a rabbit for Chad Brown stablemate and GISW McKulick (GB) (Frankel {GB}), Klaravich's Idea Generation (Ire) (f, 4, Dubawi {Ire}–Knocknagree {Ire}), by Galileo {Ire}) stole the GII Flower Bowl Stakes at the Spa, a 'Win and You're In' event for the GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf. The longest shot on the board at 31-1, who was second to McKulick in her lone graded try in last fall's GIII Waya Stakes, led the Flower Bowl field on a merry chase over a good Saratoga course Saturday, registering pedestrian early fractions of :26.08 and :51.92 while maintaining a lead of about half a dozen lengths throughout. MGISW and 6-5 favorite War Like Goddess (English Channel) raced several lengths back on the rail and unleashed a brave late rally, but was left with too much to do and couldn't catch Idea Generation. McKulick was third.

The victory marked the eighth win in the Flower Bowl for Chad Brown.
