KINGSCLERE (Kitten's Joy) comes to the races with a lot of baggage, being a homebred full-sister to Qatar Racing's G1 2,000 Guineas and G1 Futurity Trophy-winning sire Kameko and sporting the name of trainer Andrew Balding's historic stable. Among her rivals is Nurlan Bizakov's similarly unraced Gulya (Ire) (Night Of Thunder {Ire}) from the Roger Varian yard who is out of a full-sister to the G1 Irish 2,000 Guineas-winning sire Romanised (Ire).

SUHUB (GB) (Mohaather {GB}), who was withdrawn from her intended debut at Newmarket last month, is eventually launched by William Haggas in this fascinating newcomers' affair. Shadwell's first foal out of their G1 Falmouth Stakes and G1 Sun Chariot Stakes heroine Nazeef (GB) (Invincible Spirit {Ire}) meets a notable Richard Hannon representative in Gigi Bliss (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), Westerberg's daughter of the G2 Mill Reef Stakes runner-up Perfect Angel (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) and half-sister to the impressive debut scorer Minnetonka (Ire) (Kingman {GB}). Another of note is Mike and Michelle Morris's Ornately (GB) (Kingman {GB}), a William Haggas-trained daughter of the G1 Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine Intricately (Ire) (Fastnet Rock {Aus}).
