Tiz The Law Filly Powers To First Out Win At Los Alamitos

Handing her first-crop sire Tiz the Law his 12th win, it was Silent Law (Tiz the Law–Southern Silence, by Dixie Union) who blazed a trail to the winner's circle against three others on debut in the lid lifter at Los Alamitos on Saturday afternoon.

The 2-year-old filly might have taken an awkward step out of the gate, but the heavy favorite soon got underway and took aim at the pacesetter. Rolling along around the far turn, the Bob Baffert trainee coasted all the way to the wire in style with a multiple-length graduation over Calmate (Vekoma).

The final running time was :57.18.
