The win was good for a spot in the GI Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile. Last of the quartet up the backstretch as the front trio stayed together in a line, the 5-1 shot swung four wide off the turn and the field came home with everyone in with a chance at the furlong marker. But it was Three Technique who kicked on close to the wire, outrunning Tumbarumba (Oscar Performance) and 4-5 favorite Cagliostro (Upstart) to win. Lifetime Record: 39-7-6-8.
