The final leg of the Canadian Triple Crown was settled on Sunday at Woodbine and it was Roscar (Oscar Performance–Rosemere, by Court Vision) who took home the title in the Breeders' Stakes.

With three entries from Chiefswood Stables, the gelding went off as a 3/1 shot here. The lone filly in the race, Hurricane Clair (Silent Name {Jpn}), drew most of the betting interest as the 4-5 favorite.

At the bell, a longshot grabbed the lead away from the chalk, while Roscar took up a tracking positon into the first turn. Waiting for his chance to pounce, the opportunity came when the 3-year-old cut the corner and suddenly found himself on the lead at the top of the lane.

Motoring forward, Roscar got the win, as stablemates Saccharine (Noble Mission {GB}) and Side Street (Kitten's Joy) completed the Chiefswood trifecta.

The final running time was 2:34.72.

Lifetime Record: 7-2-0-2.
