Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted October 5, 2024 Journalists Posted October 5, 2024 With a racing move as ageless as the racetrack, it was Zeitlos (Curlin–Thyme For Roses {Aus}, by Redoute's Choice {Aus}) who rode the rail to get the win in the GII Thoroughbred Club of American Stakes at Keeneland on Saturday afternoon. The score earned the 4-year-old a spot in next month's GI PNC Bank Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint. As a 7-2 shot here, Zeitlos followed the lead up the backstretch of stablemate Clearly Unhinged (Into Mischief). With a full tank and ready to fly around the far turn, the filly began to make up ground and entering the lane the rail opened up wide for her. She dove towards the fence and cruised home to get the prize over Spirit Wind (Bahamian Squall). The final running time was 1:09.52. Lifetime Record: . Sales History: $350,000 '21 KEESEP.
