12-1 shot MAGNUM FORCE (IRE) (c, 2, Mehmas {Ire}–Tropical Rock {GB}, by Fastnet Rock {Aus}) struck first for Europe with an off-the-pace win in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint to get Future Stars Friday going at Del Mar. Stuck running along the rail towards the rear of the field after being outrun at the start, he found a perfect seam up the inside around the turn and into the final furlong, tipped outside of pacesetting American runner Governor Sam (Improbable) and stormed ahead in the final jumps to seal the win for owner Abdulla Al Khalifa and trainer Ger Lyons. Arizona Blaze (GB) (Sergei Prokofiev) came through for second with Governor Sam checking in third in a photo. Lifetime Record: GSP-Eng, 5-2-2-1.

O-Abdulla Al Khalifa; B-Sheikh Abdulla bin Isa Al-Khalifa; T-Ger Lyons.
