Observations on the European Racing Scene turns the spotlight on the best European races of the day, highlighting well-bred horses early in their careers, horses of note returning to action and young runners that achieved notable results in the sales ring. Tuesday's Observations features a half-brother to a multiple Group 1 winner.

12.15 Redcar, Nov, £7,000, 2yo, 7fT
Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum's hitherto unraced LORD CAPULET (IRE) (Make Believe {GB}) is a homebred half-brother to last term's G1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere and this term's G1 Irish 2000 Guineas and G1 St James's Palace Stakes hero Rosallion (Ire) (Blue Point {Ire}). The Kevin Ryan trainee is opposed by 10 in this low-key debut.
