The news was first reported by Jour de Galop. The son of Scat Daddy has 40 foals in his first crop, and, from 11 runners has a trio of winners. His Ciaran (Fr) was second in the Listed Prix des Jouvenceaux et Jouvencelles. A winner of the G2 Railway Stakes, the dark bay was second in the 2019 GI Secretariat Stakes in the U.S. After starting his stud career at Haras de Grandcamp where he stood 2021 and 2022 at €6,000, Van Beethoven moved to Karwin Farm beginning with the 2023 season. His fee was €4,500 in 2023 and 2024.
