Journalists Wandering Eyes Posted 3 hours ago Journalists Share Posted 3 hours ago Bearstone Stud has kept the fees for its three stallions at the same price as in 2024, with Dream Ahead at £6,500, Belardo (Ire) at £5,500 and Washington DC (Ire) at £3,500. “We feel our stallions offer exceptional value in a challenging marketing, none more so than Belardo, who is the highest-ranked sire standing in Europe under £15,000 by the number of European winners in 2024,” said Bearstone Stud owner Terry Holdcroft. “Further afield US Grade I winner Gold Phoenix added more US black-type to his form, and Fiach McHugh (aka Red Lion) was placed in two valuable Group 1 races in Hong Kong. He was one of 10 new stakes horses for Belardo this year.” He added, “Proven Group 1 sire of speed Dream Ahead has sired 65 stakes horses worldwide and is ranked alongside leading sprint sires No Nay Never, Dark Angel and Kodiac for the number of Group 1-winning sprinters produced since 2019. “Lastly, our young sire Washington DC also showed his ability to produce tough and durable sprinters like himself, led by Washington Heights kicking off a successful season this year for him with victory in the Group 3 Abernant Stakes.” The post Bearstone Fees Unchanged in ‘Challenging Market’ appeared first on TDN | Thoroughbred Daily News | Horse Racing News, Results and Video | Thoroughbred Breeding and Auctions.
